9. How to enable cookies for the site to work ok
1. Q: What you must do with the files you downloaded
A: All the files from our site are archived as winrar archives. To extract a file you need to go over the following steps:
- get yourself the latest winrar from http://www.rarlabs.com and install it
- enable file extensions viewing (how to)
- click on the file (song) you downloaded from us
- press right-click and rename
- at the end of the file change the file extension to "rar" without the quotes and then press enter for renaming
- right-click on the file and click extract here
2. Q: How to enable file extension viewing
A: You need to follow these steps in order to enable file extensions
- open My Computer.
- click on the Tools menu located in the upper side of the window.
- click on Folder Options.
- a new window will open. Click on the View tab.
- at Advanced settings uncheck .
- click Ok.
- now file extensions viewing is enabled. The extension of the file is in fact what you see in the file name after the dot. The files you download from komp3 often have extension like "mdb" or "doc"
3. Q: I get a bad crc response when i extract the song
A: That's because you haven't downloaded the entire file. We check all the files before linking making sure that no broken ones appear. What you must do is download the file again and make sure the download reaches 100%
4. Q: How can i search something on the site?
A: In the upper corner of this page or any page of the site you will see a box that has the word "Search for" in it. What you need to do is enter the name of an artist or the name of a song and click the blue button that's next to it. For the search to be as good as it can make sure you only search for one word (from the artist's name or from the song). For example if i am searching for "danzel - pump it up" i would type "danzer" or "pump" and then i would hit search!
5. Q: How can i rename multiple files at once?
A:You need to follow these steps to rename multiple files at once:
- move all the files you downloaded from us in a folder. We're going to use as an example "c:\KOmp3"
- click on start and then on run
- type in "cmd" if you are using windows 2000 or windows xp. If you are using windows 98 or any other windows type in "command". Without the quotes of course
- press ok, a black window will appear
- type in "cd c:\KOmp3" (if ClaSa is the folder you used to store the files) and press enter
- type in "ren *.mdb *.rar" (for mdb extension) or "ren *.doc *.rar" (for doc extension) and press enter
- close the window that you worked in
- open my computer and go to c:\ClaSa8
- select all the files and then right-click on any of the files and press extract here
- that's it! happy listening :p
6. Q: I'm trying to download a file and the file downloaded has the extension "htm" or " html"
A:The download link is broken. There is nothing you can do about this except wait. We keep all our links up but sometimes they get broken. Just download something else or come back in a day or two when it will be fixed
7. Q: I want to request a song or an album and i don't know how
A:There are no requests on this site. Sorry for those who don't agree with this
8. Q: When i click on a song name nothing happends. What must i do?
